Salary Information $1,123 per Equivalent Credit Hour (ECH)Job Summary Adjunct Civil Engineering Technology Instructor to teach web blended and in person CET 130 – Surveying Fundamentals for Spring Semester 2027.
Essential Functions Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi.Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students.Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies.Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.
Required Qualifications Associate degree in subject area and 1.5 years of civil engineering related experience OR Diploma or Certificate in subject area and 3 years of non-teaching work experience related to specific course. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds.
Desired Qualifications Teaching experience.
Work Schedule Spring Semester 2027. Web-blended including four Tuesdays on Boone Campus 8:00am – 5:00pm.
